Won’t get this in Abu Dhabi!
It began when I was at the gym. It started off just a few flakes, but then the heavens opened and it bucketed down. This was not a sprinkling, this was the real thing….. SNOW!!!!
I called it right then and there….. No after school activities today, no ballet, no groceries, no chores – we are dusting off the sleds and heading off to the ‘slopes’.
We weren’t the only ones with the idea. There was a sea of sleds making their way to collect their kids.
Not one to miss out on the fun, Dave moved a few meetings around and met us in the park. We went straight after school, so we got the good snow. The kids, kitted out in all their snow gear, had a BALL.
And the best bit is…. there’s 5 more days of snow forecast next week.
