Miss A is obsessed with looking at old photos. I came across this one of my Mother. She’s in her Sunday best, you imagine she must be off to Church or something very important. No, she’s about to get on a flight to Holland.

This is how they used to dress when they travelled (in 1980) 30 hours across the globe.
Nowadays, you have a variety of ‘relaxed wear’ on the plane, ranging from tracksuit pants (people, these are for inside wear or exercise time ONLY), leggings, onesies and if you’re lucky – thongs.
After thought – maybe she’s just excited to be getting away from her 6 kids for 6 weeks. She’s probably already started on the G&T’s.
