I’ve come to selfishly love my friends back home who suffer from insomnia or have small children that wake often throughout the night.
I love that surprise text (at 3am AEDT) that basically says “Amuse me, I can’t sleep”. The best conversations are had when they are sleep deprived and I’ve had a glass of wine.

I love you too! Remember it works both ways – all those nights spent awake, it can get a bit lonely so it's lovely to have a friend awake with you (especially cause your husband ain't going to be awake!). xxxx
