Dave has gone to London for the day. Anneke and I are left to our own devices!!!
We went out with our new friends this morning, Anneke was besotted with Jack the dog. She’s showing a real caring side for little kids too, though helping them up by their neck after a fall, isn’t really cutting it.
This afternoon I came home to a note saying that Post NL had a parcel for me and they’d left it with our neighbour. I knocked on their door, and low and behold, she was from playgroup. I knew her! Really feeling like a local!
Anneke’s paperwork for Peuterspeelzaal (pre-school) arrived today. She starts in a week. We cannot wait!
